Website

To set up a website:

• Expose port 80 on your computer (or VPS).
• Buy a domain name and set up DNS records to point to your computer's IP.
• Install and configure Nginx: update the domain name and the root directory for your webpages.
• Issue certificates using Certbot for https://.

Messenger

I use Signal messenger.

Signal client for android consumes a lot of battery while listening for notifications. I use Molly instead and run Mollysocket on my computer for push notifications.

Smart phone

After years of thoughts, I finally switched to GrapheneOS in 2025. I use it on a second-hand Pixel 7. I do not run Google services on the primary user. I have a secondary user with Google services which I primarily use to book cabs.

I still have a "normal" android phone which contains the stock Google OS that most android phones are equipped with. I do not carry this device with me and use it occasionally to sync up with friends who only have WhatsApp.

Artificial Intelligence

I do not use AI in anyway. Mainly due to the fact that AI is not reproducible and not explainable.
